OUR PROCESS

1. CONNECT

If you are considering CTTCS for your child, please begin by completing our New Family Interest Form

The New Family Interest Form allows us to learn a little about your family and your child and helps us confirm grade-level availability.

Completing the New Family Interest Form is not an application and does not reserve a place for your child.

2. VISIT

Open House

We encourage all prospective families to attend one of our Open Houses (11/5 at 10 a.m. or 11/8 at 12 p.m.). This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our school, meet members of our faculty and staff, learn about our academic and faith programs, and ask questions about CTTCS.

At the Open House, we will provide families with information about the admissions process and explain how to get started when applications open on December 1, 2026.

Schedule a Visit

Families who are unable to attend an Open House are welcome to schedule a tour.

Tours are typically available Monday through Thursday, between 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.

3. APPLY

Applications for the 2027–28 school year open on December 1, 2026, and are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, subject to availability.

Beginning December 1, families interested in applying to CTTCS should complete the required Diocese of Wilmington Catholic Schools pre-registration process.

Please have the following documents scanned and available to email to [email protected] and to upload with your application:

• A copy of the applicant's birth certificate

• The applicant's most recent immunization records

  • Students must be fully immunized.

  • Religious exemptions are not accepted.

• A copy of the applicant's most current physical examination form

  • The required form is available at cttcs.org under Parent Resources.

• A copy of the applicant's baptismal certificate, if applicable

• Grade 1: Kindergarten report card *emailed only

• Grades 2–8: Report cards and standardized test scores from the last two years *emailed only

Application Fee

A $100 non-refundable application fee per applicant is required to process an application.

Please include the applicant’s name and grade for 2027-28 in the Note section.

4. ASSESS

After the application and required documents have been submitted, CTTCS will review the applicant's academic records and other required information.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten applicants will participate in an assessment in the spring. Assessment dates and scheduling information will be sent directly to parents/guardians.

Grades 1–8

Students in Grades 1–8 will participate in an age-appropriate assessment and a shadow day as part of the admissions process. Families will receive information about assessment dates and next steps after the application has been submitted.

5. DECIDE

Preschool (PK3 & PK4) and Kindergarten

Parents/guardians will be notified by email by February regarding their child's admission decision after the application and the required documents have been received.

Families who apply after January can expect to receive an admission decision within approximately two weeks, depending on available space and completion of the application process.

1st–Grade 8

Parents/guardians will be notified by email regarding their child's admission decision after the application, academic records, assessment results, and other applicable information have been reviewed.

6. ENROLL

Once a student has been accepted to Christ the Teacher Catholic School, families will receive information about completing the enrollment process.

A $250 non-refundable registration fee is required within two weeks of acceptance to secure the student's placement for the upcoming school year.   Mrs. Lee will email the link.

Additional enrollment information and instructions will be provided to families upon acceptance.
