Mrs. Amy Potts

Hi wonderful Kindergarten families!  My name is Amy Potts and I am blessed to be teaching Kindergarten at Christ the Teacher this year!  I had the privilege of being a part of this community from the time the school was built - learning from my Mom who was one of the first kindergarten teachers at CTT.  Now it has come full circle as my two children are students here and I will have my own kindergarten classroom!  

    I attended the University of Delaware where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Education and Special Education, as well as Wilmington University where I received a master's degree in instruction of reading.  I have 10 years of experience teaching kindergarten in the public school setting and I am excited to be able to incorporate my faith into my teaching on a daily basis.

    Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family - including our dog (Bonkers), cheer on the Phillies and Eagles, and visit the shore!  There is something so incredibly special about a child's kindergarten year, and I can't wait to be a part of all of the fun, learning, and growth that's in store for your child!  Kindergarten rocks!
