Mrs. Amy Potts

Hi, families!

My name is Amy Potts, and I am blessed to be a Kindergarten teacher at Christ the Teacher Catholic School! I have been a part of the CTTCS community since 2002, when my mom served as our very first Kindergarten teacher. It has been a joy to continue that legacy, and now my own two children are students here while I have the privilege of teaching in my own Kindergarten classroom.

I earned my bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Delaware, as well as a master's degree in Reading Instruction from Wilmington University. After teaching Kindergarten in public school for 10 years, I am excited to begin my second year teaching Kindergarten at CTTCS.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, including our dog, Bonkers, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, and visiting the shore.

Kindergarten is such a special year filled with wonder, growth, and discovery. I am honored to be part of this exciting journey and look forward to partnering with your family as we learn, grow, and walk together in faith in our wonderful Christ the Teacher community. I can't wait to meet you and your child!
