My name is Nicole Woodham, and I have been a Pre-K Teacher’s Aide at Christ the Teacher Catholic School since the fall of 2023. Before joining CTTCS, I spent 20 years working as a substitute teacher. My connection to CTTCS began in 2004, when my oldest son started in the 3-year-old Pre-K program. All three of my children attended CTTCS from preschool through eighth grade, graduating in 2015, 2018, and 2023.
Before becoming part of the CTTCS family, I taught kindergarten at Our Lady of Fatima. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University.
What I love most about teaching is watching children become excited about learning. They truly are like little sponges, eager to explore, discover, and soak up new experiences! I believe that students and teachers become a classroom family, and watching children grow and develop throughout the school year never ceases to amaze me.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, spending summers at my parents’ home in Lewes, walking my Goldendoodle, Callie, and reading. CTTCS truly feels like a second home to me, and I am incredibly grateful for the many wonderful friendships and memories I have made throughout the years.
